Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technology which is capable of evaluating biological tissue such as cartilaginous tissue and regenerated tissue such as regenerated cartilage. A method for observing a dynamic physical property of biological tissue according to the present invention is characterized in that a biological tissue is irradiated with pulse light which includes wavelengths in the far-infrared wavelength range, and which has been modulated into circularly polarized light by using a high-voltage/high-speed modulation means (13) to apply a bias voltage to a radiation means (3) provided with an antenna electrode film having an orthogonal (2) axis structure, while shifting the phase, and the dynamic physical property of the biological tissue is observed on the basis of a spectrum obtained using vibrational optical activity spectroscopy.
