Abstract:
The storage stability of a blend of a trialkylaluminum compound and a halogenated metal alkyl compound can be improved by reducing the hydride level in the trialkylaluminum compound by the addition to the trialkylaluminum compound of a hydride-reactive compound, such as an alkene containing terminal unsaturation.
