Abstract:
A method for online detection of milling blade damage, comprising the following steps: 1) installing a vibration sensor module on a main shaft of a machine tool; 2) collecting initial sample data; 3) setting a threshold △S0 and a time interval period T; 4) measuring, within each period T0, vibration signals in the x, y, z directions for n blades; 5) performing shaping, so as to obtain, within each time period T0, data for n strong vibration cutting waves formed in the x and y directions by n respective blades; 6) analyzing and processing the data for the strong vibration cutting waves, so as to obtain, within each period T0, a difference value △S/ 0 between the areas of the strong vibration cutting waves formed by each blade; 7) a data comparison and analysis module outputting, according to a restrictive condition, a blade wear signal to an alert display module, and the alert display module emitting a warning. The present method, on the basis of machined workpiece precision requirements, and by means of the collection, analysis, and processing of online vibration signals, can realize quick detection, alert, and servicing of machine tool blade damage, which can significantly reduce machining losses caused by blade wear or damage, and also increase the quality of machined workpieces.
