Abstract:
This method involves: detecting, by means of a foreign substance detection device, whether there are foreign substances attached to a seating part, after lifting, with a pallet moving lifting/lowering part, a first pallet, on which a machined workpiece is loaded, to an exchange position, and before moving a second pallet, on which a non-machined workpiece is loaded, from a standby position to the exchange position and causing the second pallet to be seated on the seating part (step S5); and supplying a foreign substance removing fluid on a surface of the seating part when it has been detected that there are foreign substances attached (step S6), and causing the foreign substance removing fluid not to be supplied when it has been detected that there is no foreign substance attached.
