Abstract:
A method for operating a waste disposal apparatus for excrement disposal, according to the present invention, the waste disposal apparatus comprising a body wearable unit having a disposal space for receiving and discharging waste discharged from a human body, and a human body-mounted disposal unit provided in the disposal space and including a sensor unit which recognizes waste, comprises the steps of: (a) carrying out, by the human body-mounted disposal unit, an waste disposal operation for discharging excrement located in the disposal space; (b) after step (a), sensing, by the sensor unit, whether excrement is present in the disposal space; (c) when it is determined in step (b) that excrement is present in the disposal space, carrying out steps (a) and (b) again; and (d) when step (c) is repeated a preset first reference number of times, switching the human body-mounted disposal unit to an excrement decomposition mode so as to decompose the excrement located in the disposal space, and simultaneously carrying out the waste disposal operation.
