Abstract:
The invention discloses a method of paging indicative channel transmission in a CDMA mobile communication system. The method transmits a signal only when subscriber equipment- has a paging message in a indicator bit. When subscriber equipment has no paging message and the indicator bit is set to 0, the transmitted signal is switched off. In the case that paging indicative channel supports paging subscribers Np of 144 and the total number of bits is 288, if only one subscriber is paged, then only 2 bits need to be transmitted, and the rest of 286 bits doesn't be transmitted so as to save the power. Therefore, compared with the method of the exiting paging indicative channel transmission, the method of the present invention is able to reduce the transmitting power, decrease the interference and increase the capacity of the whole system.
