Abstract:
[Problem] To increase the S/N ratio of a pen signal received in a sensor controller, without decreasing the frequency of position detection and without increasing the circuit size of the sensor controller. [Solution] A method according to the present invention is performed by an electromagnetic induction-type sensor controller. According to the method, three loop coils LCxn-1 to LCxn+1 are connected in a connection configuration with different connection polarities in each of a plurality of pen signal detection periods T1 to T3, a result value indicating the level of the pen signal is detected via the three loop coils LCxn-1 to LCxn+1, and reconstructing computation corresponding to the connection polarities is performed with respect to a plurality of result values detected in each of the plurality of pen signal detection periods, to thereby separate and acquire the level of the pen signal corresponding to each of the three loop coils LCxn-1 to LCxn+1.
