Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present application is a method for performing remote video, applied to terminals. The method comprises: a first terminal obtains a first image frame and a second image frame, the zoom magnification of the first image frame being greater than the zoom magnification of the second image frame, and the first image frame being determined according to region of interest information; and the first terminal sends the plurality of image frames and indication information to a second terminal, so that the second terminal selects, according to the indication information, an image frame to be displayed, the indication information comprising the region of interest information of the first image frame. An image frame having a lower zoom magnification is added during the transmission of an image frame related to a region of interest, so that a receiving end can capture a screen corresponding to a changed region of interest from the image frame having a lower zoom magnification and display the screen, thereby shortening the response time at the time of adjusting a region of interest in a video, and avoiding the phenomenon of freezing in the video screen.
