Abstract:
Provided is a method of picking up an image inside a furnace, wherein, when picking up an image of molten glass to be observed within a high-temperature furnace, an image with good contrast can be obtained. An image of molten glass within a furnace is picked up together with structures inside the furnace. Then, the image is corrected using a prescribed parameter. Further, statistics for brightness values of each of pixels within prescribed areas, which are predetermined areas corresponding to structures within the image, are calculated using the pre-corrected image, and the value of the prescribed parameter is calculated on the basis of the statistics.
