Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing 2-hydroxy-gamma-butyrolactone through a biosynthesis pathway and, more specifically, to a method for preparing 2-hydroxy-gamma-butyrolactone from 3-hydroxypropionic acid and formic acid using a recombinant microorganism. According to the present invention, 2-hydroxy-gamma-butyrolactone can be produced from 3-hydroxypropionic acid and formic acid through a biosynthesis pathway using an enzyme.
