Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a method for preparing an admixture for a gypsum board; an admixture for a gypsum board, prepared thereby; and a composition for forming a gypsum board, comprising same. Specifically, a technique to be provided adjusts the degree of sulfonation (DS) of a sulfonated polystyrene (SPS)-based polymer compound and the type and degree of polymerization of monomers contained in the polymer compound so as to enable the adjustment of admixture physical properties such as the flowability, setting time and bubble size of a gypsum slurry.
