Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method of preparing aniline, phenol and their derivatives, characterized by first reacting benzene and benzene which has various substituents with bromine to form bromobenzene and bromobenzene which has various substituents; if further reacting bromobenzene or bromobenzene which has various substituents with metal oxide and/or metal hydroxide and ammonia (or primary amine, secondary amine), aniline or aniline derivatives which have various substituents are formed; and if further reacting bromobenzene or bromobenzene which has various substituents with metal oxide and/or metal hydroxide and H2O, phenol or phenol derivatives which have various substituents are formed. The net result of the total process is synthesis of aniline or aniline derivatives by using benzene or benzene derivatives, ammonia and oxygen, and the side product is water. If synthesizing phenols, benzene or benzene derivatives, water, oxygen are used to synthesize phenol or phenol derivatives. After ammonia (amine) is distilled, metal bromide and/or metal ammonia (amine) complexing bromide formed in the course of synthesizing aniline, phenol and their derivatives, are reproduced to metal oxide and/or metal hydroxide, and bromine is recovered. Bromine and metal oxides are recycled for use and not consumed and there is no environmental pollution. This process has the features of high conversion of benzene and good selectivity etc.
