Title:
METHOD FOR PREPARING COATED, WHOLE COTTONSEED FROM WHICH GERMINATION FUNCTION IS REMOVED
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/186935
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a high-strength, coated, whole cottonseed for stock feed, in which the germination function of the whole cottonseed is removed by using a high temperature and high pressure steam, and high-viscosity gelatinized starch, which is obtained by gelatinizing starch in a preparation process, is used. The method for preparing a high-strength, coated, whole cottonseed, according to the present invention, can fundamentally block the influx of heterologous genes into a country during the use thereof by removing the germination function of a whole cottonseed, thereby protecting the domestic plant gene environment, and can remarkably increase the selection range of a coating agent according to the utilization of a starch having increased viscosity by gelatinizing the starch in a preparation process. In addition, an advantageous effect capable of solving an economical efficiency problem, in which a high production cost is required, is provided since coated, whole cottonseed can be prepared without a drying process requiring a large amount of energy.
