Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a copolymer, a copolymer prepared thereby, and a thermoplastic resin composition including the copolymer. The method for preparing a copolymer comprises a step (S10) for introducing and polymerizing an aromatic vinyl-based monomer, a vinyl cyanide-based monomer, and an imide-based monomer, wherein 1-24 wt% of the imide-based monomer is introduced in a single batch before polymerization is initiated, and 76-99 wt% of the imide-based monomer is continuously introduced starting from when polymerization is initiated.
