Abstract:

A dual-function catalyst, a method for preparing same and application of the dual-function catalyst. The dual-function catalyst comprises a metallic oxide and alkaline molecular sieves. A mass ratio of the alkaline molecular sieves to the metallic oxide is 0.1-10:1. The catalyst can be used in a reaction for preparing styrene from methylbenzene and methanol and jointly producing ethylbenzene, and improves the conversion rate of raw materials and the yield of products.
