Abstract:
The present invention relates to an eco-friendly and highly efficient method for preparing an ester compound based on an esterification reaction using a salt ion-exchange method, and an ester compound thereof. In conventional esterification reactions, since hydrolysis proceeds as a reverse reaction with water, and thus the yield of ester is not good, or, as a method for avoiding hydrolysis, hydrochloric acid gas is continuously supplied or thionyl chloride, which is a hazardous substance, is used, esterification reactions have limitations in terms of environment and cost. Accordingly, in the present invention, hydrochloric acid gas is continuously supplied by using a salt ion-exchange method, and magnesium sulfate acts as a dehydrating agent and removes water produced in the esterification reaction, thereby reducing the progress of a reverse reaction of hydrolysis and increasing the conversion rate of a desired ester compound. In addition, since reactants are cheap and the product thereof also has low toxicity and is easy to handle, a more efficient reaction is enabled.
