Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, the method enabling a high-purity ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer to be obtained without excessive washing. According to the present invention, after saponification of ethylene-vinyl acetate, the efficiency of washing for obtaining an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer can be improved, and thus productivity can be improved and wastewater generation can be minimized.
