Disclosed is a method for preparing a fluorine-containing polymer processing aid, the method comprising the following steps: simultaneously charging ε-caprolactone and a fluoropolymer elastomer into a reactor, and raising the temperature and dissolving same; and when the fluoropolymer elastomer is completely dissolved, reducing the temperature, adding a polyhydric alcohol, mixing same until uniform, adding an organic tin catalyst for a polymerization reaction, and after the reaction is completed, performing cooling and crushing or spraying granulation to obtain a fluorine-containing polymer processing aid. The processing aid prepared by this method can reduce the extrusion pressure during extrusion of a polymer, increase the processing efficiency, and ameliorates the phenomena of melt fracture and "sharkskin" during polymer extrusion, thereby efficiently improving the surface quality of an article. Compared with the prior art, the processing aid of the present invention has the characteristics of a uniform dispersed particle size during polymer processing, being less prone to coking at a die after a long time of polymer extrusion processing, etc.
