Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing glycidol by decarboxylation of glycerol carbonate, and more specifically, to a method for preparing glycidol by decarboxylation of glycerol carbonate, wherein an ionic liquid catalyst is added as a reaction catalyst. According to the present invention, it is possible to produce glycidol in high yields and with selectivity by a convenient, simple and environmentally friendly method.
