Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of inorganic functional material preparation, and provides a method for preparing high-purity spherical instant boric acid by means of organic molecule induction. Analytical boric acid or industrial boric acid is used as a raw material, and a mixture solution containing low-grade alcohol, ketone, ether or acid having a carbon number of less than 4 and water is used as a solvent. The boric acid is dissolved in a hot solvent, then the boric acid solution is cooled down on the basis of the principle of solubility and surface free energy control, and a method of inducing crystallization by means of organic molecules is used to adjust an exposed surface of a boric acid crystal and the morphology of aggregated particles so that recrystallized boric acid microspheres are precipitated from a supersaturated solution. After suction filtration and drying, high-purity spherical boric acid without agglomeration can be obtained. The instant spherical boric acid powder obtained by means of the described method has a simple operation process, and processing conditions are easy to control; moreover, surfactants or auxiliary agents need not be consumed, the material utilization rate is high, and product purity is high. The described method solves previous problems such as the speed of dissolution being slow and clumping easily occurring for ordinary boric acid.
