Abstract:
A method for preparing high-uniformity double-layer raw carbon paper having a gradient pore size, comprising: adding carbon fibers into an aqueous alkali lignin solution for treatment, controlling the aqueous alkali lignin solution to reach a subcritical water condition to modify the carbon fibers using active phenolic sodium groups of alkali lignin under the subcritical water condition, so as to increase hydrophilic groups and rough structures on surfaces of the carbon fibers, further modifying the carbon fibers to form carbon nanotube cluster structures on the surfaces of the carbon fibers, to obtain carbon fibers undergone thermal surface modification, adding the carbon fibers undergone thermal surface modification into a dispersing agent for dispersion, adding auxiliary materials and stirring the mixture to prepare mixed slurry, and preparing raw carbon paper from the mixed slurry through a wet forming process. The prepared raw carbon paper has advantages of a uniform thickness and uniform pore structures, the tensile strength of the raw paper is improved, and the electrical resistivity of the raw paper is reduced.
