Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing isopropyl alcohol, wherein a propylene monomer is reacted with water in a reactor to produce a reaction product containing isopropyl alcohol, and from the reaction product stream, unreacted propylene monomer and isopropyl alcohol can be separated with high purity by using an absorption tower, a first gas purification column, a second gas purification column, and an inert gas removal column.
