METHOD FOR PREPARING LITHIUM HYDROXIDE FROM LITHIUM-CONTAINING LOW-MAGNESIUM BRINE

Provided is a method for preparing lithium hydroxide from a lithium-containing low-magnesium brine, which relates to the technical field of salt lake lithium extraction. The method comprises: using an inorganic base to adjust the pH value of a lithium-containing low-magnesium brine to be greater than 10, precipitating calcium and magnesium, and obtaining a lithium-containing brine from which calcium and magnesium are removed; using an organic extraction agent to extract the lithium in the lithium-containing brine from which calcium and magnesium are removed, and obtaining a raffinate containing sodium and potassium and a lithium-containing loaded organic phase; carrying out reverse extraction on the lithium-containing loaded organic phase by using an inorganic acid solution, and obtaining a lithium salt solution; purifying the lithium salt solution and then electrolyzing, and obtaining a lithium hydroxide solution; and concentrating and crystallizing the lithium hydroxide solution, and obtaining lithium hydroxide and a lithium hydroxide precipitation mother liquor. The method is simple and convenient to operate, has a high lithium hydroxide product yield, has high purity, has a high material cyclic utilization rate, is low-cost, and can continuously prepare lithium hydroxide.
