Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing a modified silica-polyacrylate hydrophobic film, comprising: (1) adding a certain amount of nano-sized silica into a mixed solution of ethanol and distilled water and mixing evenly, adding stearic acid dissolved with ethanol and magnetically stirring for 1 to 3 hours, then drying at 120°C and grinding to obtain a modified silica; (2) mixing and stirring, using high-speed ultrasound, distilled water, a dispersing agent and a catalyst at a volume ratio of (60-70):(10-20):1 to a certain viscosity, adding the modified silica into the obtained mixed liquid and dispersing evenly by ultrasound, and then adding a polyacrylate emulsion and a curing agent and magnetically stirring at 30°C to 50°C for 1 to 2 hours to obtain a silica-polyacrylate; (3) coating the silica-polyacrylate emulsion evenly onto a pretreated glass substrate, curing at room temperature for 2 to 4 hours, and then curing at 90°C to 110°C for 20 to 40 minutes to obtain the modified silica-polyacrylate hydrophobic film. The film of the present application has a good hydrophobicity.
