Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for preparing an optically active carbonyl compound, comprising the following steps: subjecting an α,β-unsaturated aldehyde or an α,β-unsaturated ketone to an asymmetric hydrogenation catalyzed by a chiral amine salt and a transition metal catalyst, with hydrogen gas and a catalytic amount of a dihydropyridine as sources of hydrogen, to obtain the optically active carbonyl compound. The method has a mild reaction condition, is easy to operate, and uses a catalytic amount of the dihydropyridine, allowing easy separation and purification of a target product from the reaction system. The metal catalyst can also be recycled to meet requirements of economic efficiency.
