Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a security pigment and, more specifically, to a preparation method capable of providing a security pigment having an aesthetic effect and security characteristics at the same time, the method comprising the steps of: (a) preparing an organic binder solution containing organic fluorescent particles; (b) preparing a substrate suspension by mixing a flake substrate and a solvent, followed by stirring and dispersing; and (c) mixing the substrate dispersion and the organic binder solution to coat the organic fluorescent particles on a surface of the flake substrate.
