Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a polyurethane foam having an antibacterial function, and a polyurethane foam prepared by the preparation method, and more specifically, to a method for preparing a polyurethane foam by mixing a polyol and an antibacterial agent, comprising: a first mixture formation step of forming a mixture by putting, in a mixer, the polyol and 0.8% of a powder-type antibacterial agent on the basis of the weight of the polyol, in which mixing is carried out for two hours by putting, in the mixer, 0.05% of a foaming inhibitor on the basis of the weight of the mixture; a second mixture formation step of setting the temperature of a mold to be 50-60°C and setting the pressure, RPM and temperature of a foaming machine after the first mixture formation step, moving the mixture mixed in the mixer to a material tank, and adding 0.05% of a foaming catalyst by weight to the mixture of the material tank so as to mix the same for three hours; and a drying step of forming a polyurethane foam by foaming the mixture in the mold after the second mixture formation step, taking out the polyurethane foam, and putting the same in a dryer so as to dry the same for six hours. This invention is an antibacterial agent harmless to the human body, has semi-permanent antibacterial effects on a wide range of bacteria, fungi and viruses and shows very excellent deodorizing action and heat resistance.
