Abstract:
A method for preparing a polyvinyl alcohol fiber composite material by a stepwise hot rolling modification method, a polyvinyl alcohol fiber composite material prepared thereby, and an application of the material. The method for preparing a polyvinyl alcohol fiber composite material comprises: using a sizing modification solution and polyvinyl alcohol fibers produced by wet spinning to perform stepwise sizing, hot rolling, modifying, and compounding during the preparation process of a non-woven fabric. The sizing modification solution comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 of polyvinyl alcohol; 20-100 of modified polyol plasticizer; 5-10 of softener; 3-10 of filler; 0.2-1.0 of wetting penetrant; 0.3-1.0 of antifungal agent; and 400-600 of water. The non-woven fabric prepared by the process above has improved heat-sealing performance and mechanical and physical properties, and improved hand feeling.
