Abstract:
A method for preparing a protein cage according to the present invention comprises: a first step of preparing an amphiphilic polymer comprising a hydrophobic first polymer and a hydrophilic first functional group; a second step of preparing a hydrophilic protein comprising a second functional group binding to the first functional group; a third step of forming an amphiphilic polymer-protein hybrid by the binding of the first functional group and the second functional group, and forming core-shell structured particles comprising a protein shell and an amphiphilic polymer core by the self-assembly of the amphiphilic polymer in a hydrophilic solvent; and a fourth step of removing a part or all of a hydrophobic polymer of the core part from the core-shell structured particles.
