Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing pulp by using a red algae, which is a waste product in a process for preparing agar, and a method for preparing paper by using pulp prepared by the preparation method, the method for preparing pulp by using a red algae, comprising the steps of: injecting a red algae, water and diluted sulfuric acid into a pressure vessel; carrying out hydrothermal treatment by using the pressure vessel; collecting and bleaching red algae residue in the pressure vessel; and collecting and fiberizing the bleached red algae. According to the preparation method of the present invention, calcium carbonate can be effectively removed by using a small amount of an acidic solution, easy application to a mass production line is possible, and pulp can be prepared through an environmentally friendly process while recycling waste since pulp is prepared by using a red algae, which is a waste product in a step for preparing agar.
