The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a reverse osmosis membrane for seawater desalination and a reverse osmosis membrane prepared therefrom. The preparation method of the present disclosure comprises the following steps: (1) bringing a base membrane into contact with a polyamine monomer solution; (2) bringing the base membrane obtained in step (1) into contact with an acyl chloride monomer solution containing a plasticizer to form a polyamide layer on the base membrane; and (3) heating same to further crosslink the polyamide layer so as to form a reverse osmosis membrane. The plasticizer has the following structure: wherein R1 is a linear or branched alkyl group containing 1 to 10 carbons, and R2 and R3 are each independently -H or -COOR1. The reverse osmosis membrane for seawater desalination provided in the present disclosure has the characteristic of a high water yield under conditions where the desalination performance is ensured to be qualified, and can be used in the field of water treatment, such as in seawater desalination.
