Abstract:
The present invention relates to a preparation method for a super absorbent polymer. More particularly, the present invention relates to a preparation method for a super absorbent polymer enabling preparation of the super absorbent polymer having both reduced residual monomer content and water-soluble component content, by adding a thermal polymerization initiator and a reducing agent, which can give rise to an oxidation/reduction reaction, before drying a hydrous gel polymer.
