Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of preparing a superabsorbent polymer and, more specifically, to a method of preparing a superabsorbent polymer, the method being capable of more efficiently producing a superabsorbent polymer having excellent absorbance and an appropriate gel hardness by utilizing a combination of a particular polymerization initiator and a chelating agent in a crosslinking polymerization step.
