Abstract:
The present invention provides an electrocatalyst and a method for preparing same, the electrocatalyst being less expensive than Pt-C, which is currently in wide commercial use, and having excellent electrochemical activity comparable thereto. The catalyst of the present invention is characterized in that the catalyst is prepared through a combustion pathway and transition metal nanoparticles are decorated on a manganese oxide.
