Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a transition metal oxide-carbon nanocomposite. More specifically, the present invention relates to the method for preparing the transition metal oxide-carbon nanocomposite, comprising the steps of: (i) heating a mixture of a transition metal precursor and a surfactant to prepare transition metal oxyhydroxide nanoparticles; (ii) forming a carbon precursor layer on the surface of the transition metal oxyhydroxide nanoparticles by adding a carbon precursor to a mixed solution of the product obtained from step (i); and (iii) calcining a mixed solution of the product obtained from step (ii).
