Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing ultrahigh-purity colloidal silica particles and ultrahigh-purity colloidal silica particles prepared thereby. The method for preparing ultrahigh-purity colloidal silica particles, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: preparing a basic material; preparing a reaction solution by adding dropwise silicon alkoxide to the basic material; aging the reaction solution; heating the aged reaction solution; and concentrating the heated reaction solution by using a vacuum evaporator.
