Title:
METHOD FOR PRESERVING DRY SILVER-SALT ROLL-FILM FOR MICROPHOTOGRAPHING OF ROTARY TYPE AND ROTARY TYPE MICRO-CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1988/001758
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A tensile force is given to a dry silver-salt roll-film for microphotographing of rotary type to cause a resisting force therein against the movement of said film, causing the cylindrical roll heater made up of a good conductor of heat to rotate. The roll film is brought into contact with the roll heater and heated in such a manner that said roll heater is held so that the tangential direction of rotation thereof conforms with the direction of the movement of the roll film, said roll heater being placed so that the surface of the base part of the roll film is contacted with and wound around the roll heater, keeping said surface of the base part at a specified angle with said roll heater, with a tensile force acting on the roll film kept within a range of 5 g/mm2 to 250 g/mm2. In such a way, dry silver-salt roll-films will be heated, in a simple way, surely under predetermined conditions and further prevented from scratches.
