Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preventing fouling in chemical equipment by adding a fouling inhibitor, which includes a polyoxyalkylene polymer represented by formula (1) or (13) having a number-average molecular weight of no more than 30,000 g/mol, to the components in the chemical equipment. [A represents a group obtained by polymerizing a C2-20 olefin; R1, R2, R101, and R102 represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-18 alkyl group; X1 and X2 are represented by formula (2) or formula (4); E, E101, and E102 represent an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; X3, X7, and X8 represent a polyalkylene glycol group or a group represented by formula (3); R3 represents a hydrocarbon group; G represents -OX4or -NX5X6 (X4-X6 represent a polyalkylene glycol group); m represents an integer in the range of 1 to 10; A101 represents a group obtained by polymerizing a C2-20 olefin; one of X101 and X102 represents a hydrogen atom or a group represented by formula (14) or formula (15), and the other represents a group represented by formula (16); R104 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, or an acyl group; R105 and R106 represent a hydrocarbon group; and X104 represents a polyalkylene glycol group]
