METHOD FOR PROCESSING LARCH WOOD AND PLANT FOR REALISING THIS METHOD

The present invention relates to a method that first involves extracting soluble substances from larch wood. The mass obtained is separated into a liquid phase and into solid residue, and the liquid phase is then submitted to an absorption stage using a saturated aqueous solution of a water-soluble salt of diethylic ether and n-hexane. Natural resin substances are then extracted from the n-hexane solution, and flavonoids-dihydroquercetin as well as dihydrocampherol are extracted from the alcohol-ether solution. Once the water-soluble salt is extracted, the aqueous solution of polysaccharides is dried and the polysaccharides thus extracted are further processed together with the solid residue. The products from the polysaccharide processing are used to yield monosaccharides. The solid products containing fluorinated lignin are then carbonised in order to produce industrial-grade carbon, resin substances and an aqueous organic concentrate. The plant for realising this method includes a ground-wood supply unit, a carbonisation reactor, a reactor-extractor, an absorber, a settling tank, a plate-and-frame filter press, a vacuum distillation apparatus, a rectifying column, an inverter, a hydroliser, a fractional crystallisation apparatus, a sublimation-drying apparatus, a chromatography column, a lyophilisation-drying apparatus, a sealed filter press, a vacuum drying apparatus, a monosaccharide extraction unit, a unit for separating the gas-vapour mixture and an intermediate-product collector.
