Title:
METHOD FOR PROCESSING MEMORY SHARING-BASED DVB-T2/S2/C2 PIPING FORMAT BROADCASTING SIGNAL AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING PIPING FORMAT BROADCASTING SIGNAL FOR SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/177062
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technique for memory sharing-based processing a broadcasting signal in a piping format used in DVB-T2/S2/C2. More specifically, the present invention relates to a technique for effectively playing the DVB-T2/S2/C2 broadcasting signal through an application software which is operated on a shared operating system by: separately modeling a broadcasting stream signal, which is transferred by means of a piping method from the DVB-T2/S2/C2 that is designated as a next generation technology standard for digital TVs destined for Europe, when the broadcasting stream signal is processed by a receiving apparatus (example: set-top box), into a file mode that reads and processes a data file based on a transmission medium, and into an Ethernet mode that plays in real-time the broadcasting stream which is transmitted through the Ethernet; and separating same into a normal mode (NM mode) and a high efficiency mode (HEM mode) based on a data field format and processing same, wherein a system load of the receiving apparatus is reduced through a technique of sharing memory.
