Abstract:
A method of processing silver halide color photographic material comprising color developing, desilvering and water washing and/or stabilizing, wherein a photosensitive material which has at least one emulsion layer with a high silver chloride content and at least one emulsion layer containing a monodisperse emulsion is rapidly processed with a color developing solution containing a water-soluble high-molecular compound. It is preferable that the coating weight of silver in the above photographic material be 0.75 g/m?2� or less and the color developing solution contain at least 0.035 mol/l of chloride ions. The continuous rapid processing serves to remarkably reduce the variations in the photographic characteristics, particularly sensitivity and gradation, remarkably prevent unevenness in processing, and inhibit deposition on the wall of a processing tank.
