Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for depolymerizing a polycondensate of 2-cyanoacrylate at a low temperature in a short time and obtaining high-purity 2-cyanoacrylate. [Solution] A method for producing 2-cyanoacrylate, said method being characterized in that a basic substance is added to a solution of a polycondensate of a cyanoacetic acid ester and formaldehyde, depolymerization is performed, an acid is added to the resulting depolymerized composition for neutralization, and the generated salt is removed.
