Abstract:

The invention relates to a method for producing the (2E)-2-(hydroxyphenyl)-2-(alkoxyimino)-N-methylacetamides of formula (I), wherein R represents C¿1?-C¿6? alkyl which is mono- to trisubstituted by fluorine or not substituted, by reacting benzofurane-2,3-dion-3-oxime with methylamine, and subsequent alkylation.
