Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing an alcohol in which a multi-effect method is applied and the energy efficiency of the entire process is improved. The problem is solved by a method for producing alcohol having a concentration step for introducing a water-alcohol mixed solution into a multi-effect distillation column and concentrating the water-alcohol mixed solution, a condensation step for introducing vapor recovered from the top of the distillation column into a condenser and condensing the vapor, and a separation step for introducing the water-alcohol mixed solution condensed in the condensation step into a membrane separation apparatus in a liquid phase and separating the water and alcohol in the mixed solution.
