Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing novel aliphatic polyester-based foam particles having a low apparent density. This problem can be solved by a method for producing aliphatic polyester-based foam particles, the method including: a dispersion step for, in a container, dispersing aliphatic polyester-based resin particles and a foaming agent in an aqueous dispersion medium; and a release step for opening one end of the container and releasing the dispersion liquid in the container into a region which is at a lower pressure than the pressure inside the container and which has a specific temperature and water vapor content.
