Abstract:
A novel method for producing an azole derivative represented by general formula (I) comprises: a step for obtaining a bromohydrin derivative through reaction between an organometallic reagent generated from 1-bromo-2-chloro-4-(4-chlorophenoxy)benzene through transmetalation reaction, and a bromopyruvic acid derivative; and a step for obtaining an azole derivative through reaction between the bromohydrin derivative, and imidazole or 1,2,4-triazole, or an alkali metal salt thereof.
