Abstract:

This method for producing a bearing ring comprises: a step of preparing a coil material (2) and a press machine (3) for obtaining a bearing ring from the coil material (2); a step of installing the coil material (2) in the press machine (3); and a step of heating the coil material (2) in the press machine (3) to a temperature at or above an A1 transformation temperature, then punching out a portion of the coil material (2) in a ring shape, and then obtaining the bearing ring by subjecting a molded article (2A) to quenching treatment in the press machine (3).
