Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing carbamated cellulose fibers or carbamated cellulose fine fibers with a high degree of whiteness without impairing the reinforcing effect of a resin. [Solution] A bleaching agent is added to carbamated cellulose fibers and bleaching is performed under conditions in which the reaction temperature is 90 degrees or less and the pH is 7 or less. In addition, carbamated cellulose fibers obtained by this method and having a carbamate group introduction amount of 0.5 mmol/g or more are subjected to nanofibrillation, and this nanofibrillation is performed so as to obtain an average fiber width of 0.1-20 μm, an average fiber length of 0.1-2.0 mm, and a fine ratio A of 10%-90%.
