Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing carbon nanotubes in the absence of metal catalysts which, starting with a carbon source, is characterised by comprising the steps of: generating the plasma at atmospheric pressure using gases in which said generation takes place in a container coupled with the energy generator which supplies the power required to create the plasma; mixing the carbon-containing substance with a carrier gas; injecting the mix of the carbon source and the carrier gas into the container where the plasma is created; and forming the nanocarbon material on a substrate at the plasma outlet.
