Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a method for producing cellulose is provided, in which a chemical pulp and a mixed solution comprising 1.0 to 30.0% by weight of sulfuric acid, 0.5 to 40% by weight of hydrogen peroxide and 50.0 to 94.0% by weight of water are used, and the produced cellulose has a polymerization degree of 350 or less and a Hunter whiteness degree of 90% or more.
